Serviced Offices Hampshire

The county town of Hampshire is Winchester. Hampshire is notable for housing the birthplaces of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force. Hampshire is a relatively affluent county. Portsmouth and Winchester house many of the serviced offices in Hampshire where there are the highest job densities in the county and a high level of commuting into and out of the cities.
Hampshire's tourist attractions include many seaside resorts, the motor museum at Beaulieu, and national parks in both the New Forest and the South Downs, covering some 45% of the county. Hampshire has a long maritime history and houses two of England's largest ports, Portsmouth and Southampton. The county is famed as home of such writers as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.
The New Forest area is a National Park, and tourism plays a significant economic part in this area. The South Downs and the cities of Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester also attract tourists to the county. The cities of Southampton and Portsmouth are significant ports. Southampton handles a large proportion of the national container freight and Portsmouth houses a large Royal Navy base. The docks have traditionally been large employers in these cities.
