This centre occupies a prominent position on Townhead, the principal thoroughfare running through Kirkintilloch Town Centre. Kirkintilloch itself is a prosperous and busy town located 10 miles north of Glasgow City Centre which can be quickly accessed in under 10 minutes from J3 of the M8 motorway. Located within East Dunbartonshire Region, Kirkintilloch is the administrative capital and has a population of 30,000. The catchment population is however far greater drawing from the nearby towns of Bishopbriggs, Lenzie, Milngavie & Bearsden. The nearest railway station to the Centre is Lenzie, approximately one mile away and which provides regular and direct services to both Glasgow & Edinburgh.
