Michael sits on the board of Flexioffices and is involved in strategic decisions driving the growth and development of the company. He has been with Flexioffices since 2004 and held a number of positions in sales and management during his tenure, improving internal processes and mentoring personnel towards excellence. Whilst it could be said he is now part of the furniture, his belief in the key philosophy of the company does not waver: “We are here to help the client find the right office solution – not through a tough sales pitch, but active consultancy”.
A Kent girl, I sought the daily buzz and excitement of London, and so left the fire alarm industry to join Flexioffices in March 2008. Starting as an administrator, I quickly rose to Office Manager – ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, whilst doing a little bit of everything – marketing, finance and HR to name a few. In 2018, I became Operations Director. In this new role, I manage our relationships with third party service providers, maintain and develop our CRM system and manage the administration department.
With 10+ years at Flexioffices, there’s not much I don’t know about the inner workings of the business! I take pride in my problem solving skills, always improving internal processes to ensure we are doing everything in the most efficient way for both our employees and clients.
Commuting in from Kent, I get to enjoy the best of both worlds – halfway between London and the coast. I have a passion for live music, so not only do I enjoy coming into London to work, but also to socialise and see some of the many bands I love!
Peter joined Flexioffices in December 2018. He has 10 years of senior finance experience across various industries, the last four years within the property sector where he created two award winning products. Peter’s innovation allows him to deal with business challenges in fresh and surprising ways. When he is not spending time with his wife and daughter, Peter can be found cooking up a storm or chasing wind in an attempt to kitesurf
I left school when I was just 16 and enrolled in an Apprenticeship in Customer Services with a small data provider company. Little did I know I would spend the next 6 years working for them after gaining a Level 2 NVQ. I decided it was time to move on and became an Executive Assistant at my local Council, working for them for a further 4 years. In 2017, I was offered the job of Administrator at Flexioffices. This was a massive change for me as I had never worked in London before but I haven’t looked back since.
My role changed in December 2018 when Emma Butler went on Maternity leave and I took over some of her Finance duties. As the structure changed, I became Accounts Assistant and now look after everything from invoicing all of Flexi’s deals, paying our Suppliers, and running payroll for the company. I pride myself in my eagerness to learn new things, my attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Outside of Flexi, I live in Kent and I’m mum to 2 boisterous boys (3 if you include my husband!) who definitely keep me on my toes. I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my family but also like to take off my “mum” hat from time to time and go for brunch with the girls.
Emma joined Flexioffices in July 2019 having previously enjoyed 7 years in a customer service and supervisory consumer debt role at a luxury asset lender. She brings with her skills in communication, organisation and people management as well we a strong understanding of the importance of implementing an effective credit control function within a business. Emma can often be found taking spontaneous trips to the seaside, watching a variety of theatre performances or visiting all types of London landmarks in her spare time!
I started my marketing career as an apprentice within the tech industry, quickly progressing and developing my skills allowing me to complete a level 3 in digital marketing. Shortly after I was promoted. Following this I joined Flexioffices and help head up marketing activity such as brand awareness, content creation and lead generation.
I currently bring expertise into the business through my previous experience within the B2B sector. My main focus is our digital strategy, creating content and driving engagement to the Flexioffices brand.
Outside of work you’ll find me spending my weekends following West Ham as a season ticket holder. I love socialising and you’ll also catch me out and about visiting bars across the city with friends and family.
