Located in central London, at the very heart of Marylebone, Harley Street is a refined and historical street and makes for a perfect base for business operations in the capital.
With an illustrious history stretching back to the early 18, Harley Street became well-known as a hub of private medical practices and surgeries. Named after the Lord Mayor of London of the time, Thomas Harley, this lively part of London has long attracted British aristocrats to its elegant, including the famous prime minister William Gladstone.

As part of the larger borough of Marylebone, Harley Street is superbly placed for many transport links in and outside London, including by air, bus and car. The nearest main transport hub is Paddington Station, found around half an hour walk to the west of Marylebone.
The nearest airport from Harley Street by distance is the London City Airport which can be reached by travelling on the Underground's Central Line and the Docklands Light Railway. The nearby Paddington Station also provides services to other London airports, including the Heathrow Express directly to Heathrow Airport.

The nearest underground stations to Harley Street can be found in Regent's Park and on Great Portland Street. Regent's Park is on the Bakerloo Line, while Great Portland Street is on the Hammersmith & City, the Circle and the Metropolitan lines. All of the above are found in Zone 1.
Like many other central London areas and boroughs, Marylebone is very well served by urban bus routes and Harley Street is no different. Bus stops can be found at the north end of the street on Marylebone Road, at the south end at Henrietta Place and on the A4201 to the east.
Travelling to Harley Street by car is easily done by using the A5 and A501 to access Marylebone and the rest of central London.
