Barking is a suburban town in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, in East London, England. The town has excellent transport links, connected on two London Underground stations. Barking is situated just north of the A13 road and east of the River Roding near the River Thames in east London. The South Woodford to Barking Relief Road, which forms part of the A406 North Circular Road, runs through the Roding Valley, with access to the town centre by the A124.
