Known as the Leafy Suburb, Redbridge is packed with award winning public parks and green open spaces. While central London is less than 20 minutes away, the area maintains a relaxing, suburban atmosphere. Benefitting from exceptional transport links and a thriving shopping district, Redbridge is a desirable location for businesses and residents alike.
Nearby places of interest
With many arts, sports and shopping centres, Redbridge is convenient for occupants of offices at lunchtimes and after work. Visiting clients can be entertained in one of the many restaurants, bars and cafés around the area. Redbridge has been named a ‘Major Metropolitan Centre’ in the London Plan and as such labelled as an area of activity, attracting people for shopping, working, studying and socialising.
Fairlop Waters Golf Course is central to the district, while Wanstead Flats, a treeless area with ponds and lakes, provides a relaxing area for al fresco dining.
The top attractions of central London are also within easy reach and provide a plethora of options for meeting with clients.

There are many businesses based in Redbridge, with no particular commonality. From small companies to large firms, the area is popular across a spectrum sectors.
Area history
Years ago, most bridges in the area were made of white stone, while the bridge over the River Roding was made out of a stand-out red brick. The distinctive colour of the bridge is said to be how Redbridge earned its name.
Today, it is a thriving metropolitan centre, renowned for its beautiful parks, with around a third of the area designated as green belt land.
Population and demographics
Redbridge is known to have a more diverse population than most other London boroughs, with nearly 40% of the population from ethnic minorities. The area is also distinctly youthful, with more than a fifth of residents under the age of 16.
Tenants with access to serviced offices in Croydon have some of the best transport links in England. Overground services, trams, buses and airports are all close-by, ensuring that you are well connected when it comes to travelling to and from your serviced offices in Croydon.
Ilford is the borough’s central town and is a hub for public transport. The mainline rail service, Greater Anglia, comes into Ilford from the east and takes only 18 minutes to reach London Liverpool Street, where tenants can join London’s Underground network, as well as take over-ground trains to The North of England. The Greater Anglia service stops at many other stations throughout Redbridge, including Chadwell Heath, Goodmayes and Seven Kings.
While Luton and Stanstead are the closest airports, accessible in an hour, all of London’s airports are in easy reach, with the furthest, Gatwick, taking an hour and a half.
