Serviced Offices Stirlingshire

Stirlingshire or the County of Stirling is based around Stirling, the county town which is the largest city in Central Scotland. In 2002, as part of Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee, Stirling was granted city status.

Stirling has developed as a market town and with its location as the hub of transport and communications in the region; it has developed into a substantial retail sector. A major new regeneration project, known as Forthside, aims to develop a new waterfront district linked to the railway station via a new pedestrian bridge, comprising retail, residential and commercial elements, also including a conference centre, hotel and multiplex cinema. Locals will be able to access to the banks of the River Forth with beautifully landscaped public areas, footpaths, cycle ways and an improved public transport network.

Financial services and tourism are the biggest employers in Stirlingshire. Prudential have a large and well-established base at Craigforth on the outskirts of Stirling. Monuments such as Stirling Castle, the National Wallace Monument and Blair Drummond Safari Park, play a key role in Stirling's position as an important tourist destination.

Knowledge related industries, research and development, and life sciences have gathered in the Stirling University Innovation Park, a desirable location for businesses in similar fields, looking for serviced offices in Stirlingshire.

Stirlingshire has direct road connections to the major cities of Glasgow, via the M80 motorway, and Edinburgh, via the M9 motorway, plus inter-city rail links from Stirling Railway Station.
