The City of Sunderland is a local government district of Tyne and Wear, in North East England, with the status of a city and metropolitan borough. It is named after its largest settlement, Sunderland, but covers a far larger area which includes the towns of Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton-le-Spring, Washington, and a range of suburban villages.
It was granted city status in 1992, the 40th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth II's accession.
The majority of serviced offices in Sunderland are modern, high specification buildings and can be found in either a business park location benefiting from landscaped gardens and a tranquil environment or in the city centre itself. Serviced offices in Sunderland are easily accessible for staff and clients alike via good road and rail links.
Tenants with access to serviced offices in Sunderland have some of the best transport links in England. Overground services, buses and airports are all close-by, ensuring that you are well connected when it comes to travelling to and from your serviced offices in Sunderland.
Sunderland is served by Durham Tees Valley and Newcastle International Airports. Both airports provide services to all major European cities and many destinations further a-field. There is a direct light rail (Metro) link with Newcastle International airport.
