Fun things to do with your co-workers this Christmas…

Blog Image

Christmas is our favourite time of the year, the streets are filled with carol singers, festive markets, fairy lights and Christmas shoppers. In order to share our Christmas cheer, we have put together a list of some of London’s top sights to see this Christmas.

We’ve included some great places to eat, snack and grab a few drinks with your colleagues after work. There are also some markets that you can visit to help to get you in the festive spirit!

Igloos at Tower Bridge

Did you ever imagine enjoying a couple of drinks, or delicious food, while sitting with your co-workers in a three and a half metre wide igloo? Well now you can, thanks to Coppa Club, who have created these spectacular igloos on the banks of the River Thames. Here you can enjoy the breathtaking views of London’s Southbank, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

The igloos are made from PVC and come complete with heating and sheepskin blankets. Perfect for you to drink and dine this winter. There are two different igloos to choose from, the ‘dining’ igloos come with larger tables and seat 8 people. The ‘drinking’ igloos come with built in speakers that play the beautiful sounds of jazz, soul and funk music. These igloos come with sofas and coffee tables.

So whether you want to fill yourself with delicious food, or simply fancy a couple of delicious cocktails, head down to Coppa Club this festive season.

Christmas in Leicester Square

This year Christmas is coming to the world famous Leicester Square. From Friday 11th November to Sunday 8th January, Leicester Square will be home to a grotto, Christmas shows and a traditional Christmas market. Tickets are free, so head down after work with your colleagues to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Markets

What is Christmas without Christmas markets? There are plenty of markets popping up all over London, visit these markets with your colleagues to enjoy delightful food, festive drinks and browse the stalls for what’s on offer. If you’re struggling for Secret Santa gifts, we recommend heading to Greenwich Market or the Christmas cabins next to the Tate Modern, ideal places to find stocking fillers and original gifts.

Looking for delicious food, unique decorations and handmade crafts? Kingston Christmas Market should be at the top of your list. However, don’t forget Camden Market, this area is famous for its markets, which only get better during the Christmas months.

For those of you looking to add a bit of glamour to your Christmas, head to the Fortnum & Mason Christmas Arcade at Somerset House. This is one of the best places to pick up some festive treats, taste some delicious foods and buy some festive accessories and decorations.

Southbank Centre Winter Festival

This annual treasure pops up on London’s Southbank every year, bringing the best of Christmas to the banks of the River Thames. If you’re lucky enough to have an office nearby, we recommend that you and your colleagues head down to enjoy delicious festive food and drinks. Warm up with some mulled wine whilst you browse for gifts.
This festival is the perfect place for a bit of after work excitement, enjoy the Christmas rock’n’roll makeover with tunes by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and much more. There is also the Bump Roller Disco at this Winter Festival, head down to enjoy drinks and roller skating with your co-workers.

Vauxhall Winter Village

Get into the ‘Winter Spirit’ at Vauxhall’s Winter Village. Head down after work and pick up your ski passes at the gate to enter a whole new Alpine Adventure. This incredible pop up ski village opened in South London to offer people the chance to experience the festive spirit whilst relaxing in Alpine cabin booths. Feast on some delicious festive street food and enjoy bespoke winter cocktails with your colleagues.

Broadgate

Do you work near Broadgate or Liverpool Street, then why not head down to Broadgate ice rink with your colleagues after work. Here you can enjoy skating, as well as food and drinks provided by Urban Food Fest. Make sure you book in advance for skating, if you’re heading down in a large group.

After shooting around on the ice with your coworkers, you’ll be in need of a good drink to warm up. Head to Broadgate Circle that is being transformed into a Winter Terrace. Here you can enjoy the Christmas lights, snug blankets, glowing heaters and outdoor diners.
