Provide an overview of infinitSpace

infinitSpace is a flexible workspace management company that creates and manages tech-enabled white label flexible workspaces on behalf of commercial landlords. It operates its own flexible workspace brand – beyond – which landlords can choose to adopt for their own buildings.

What are the plans for infinitSpace in the future?

From the beginning, infinitSpace has always had international aspirations, with a vision to help foster human connections through the creation of inspiring and collaborative flexible workspaces. London, with its high demand for flexible working, was the perfect place to launch our first workspace: beyond Aldgate Tower. The success we’ve had in London is incredible and we want to achieve it on a global scale. Our aim is to have established 25 flexible workspaces in Europe by the end of 2023.

What are the type of customers that use the infinitSpace portfolio?

Here, at beyond Aldgate Tower, it's primarily tech-based businesses; I think that's just down to the location – the East of London and neighbouring Shoreditch are renowned as the capital’s hotspot for technology, even being dubbed Tech City. I'd say 80% of our members at the minute are tech or tech related. But we welcome and encourage all members from every discipline, which has enabled us to create a diverse and thriving community – we've got anything from tech to recruiters, up to solicitors, online banking and everything in-between."

We're currently in Beyond Aldgate Tower, what makes this space so unique?

First of all, Aldgate Tower itself is an impressive 17-storey glass building with a fantastic view over London. It’s also in an unbeatable location - we're directly on top of Aldgate East station; a 2-minute walk from Aldgate station and 8 minutes from Liverpool Street, covering most of the major tube lines and making it very well connected for members located in the east, west, north and south of the city.

beyond operates 3 floors, with 60,000 sqft over floors 4, 5 and 6. We've got a range of different memberships and every facility imaginable which means we can accommodate businesses and members of all shapes, sizes and needs. Memberships range from hot desks to private offices, which can provide from 1 staff member up to 100; we've got 23 meeting rooms here; 21 phone booths and 17 individual booths as well. 

What is your favourite amenity here at beyond Aldgate Tower?

It’s hard to pick, beyond Aldgate Tower has so many amenities designed to foster human connection and provide a collaborative and social environment. Our members love the Table tennis table and the inhouse beer taps and barista. But overall, my favourite amenity is the break-out space. Not only is it first-class in terms of the quality of furnishings and the design and layout, but it is such in abundance. It attracts members working from every business across all three floors; they come here to collaborate, socialise and engage which creates such a day-to-day buzz. You really get the feeling that the people here are passionate, dedicated to their work and making an impact.
