More than 16% of Ealing’s 46,000 inhabitants are retired, though the average age of the area is 34. Over 52% are educated to degree level and around 20% of the total population are migrants.

The Piccadilly Line runs through the centre of the borough, servicing Park Royal, Ealing Common, Acton Town, South Ealing, Northfields and Boston Manor. The District Line runs along the southern border, travelling through Turnham Green, Chiswick Park, Acton Town and Ealing Common.
The M4, M1 and the M25 are all within easy reach, connecting Ealing to The West and The North of England as well as to the London Orbital.
